Kim Yawitz, MA, RD, LD, is a registered dietitian in St. Louis, Missouri. Kim found her passion for nutrition while managing a community outreach program at the Center for Human Nutrition at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. Through her work at the CHN, Kim helped hundreds of low-income St. Louis seniors access free health screenings and nutrition education programs. The experience led her to pursue a dietetics degree, so that she could better serve those with complex medical needs. Upon completion of her degree, Kim worked as an inpatient and outpatient hospital dietitian before transitioning to private practice.
Kim holds a Bachelor of Science in dietetics from Kansas State University, a Master of Arts in Communication from Saint Louis University, and a Bachelor of Arts in political science from Rockhurst University. She’s also a freelance writer, a CrossFit trainer, and a Brand X Method coach.
